Welcome to Logan Lightning FC. We pride ourselves as the best family community sports club in Logan City.
Logan Lightning FC Incorporated became a Football Club in 1979. Our vision is to continue the expansion and development of our facilities while continuing the promotion of football within Logan City by providing the highest quality development for all players, officials and volunteers.

Update Stage 3

Dear members

 As Stage 3 restrictions are now upon us and we prepare for the recommencement of Season 2020, we would like to provide everyone with an update and the propose time frames for the rest of the season. 

 We also like to thank everyone for their patience and support during that last couple of months and since training has recommence the support in following the Covid-19 guidelines.  Stage 3 guidelines will be issue from Football Queensland in the next couple of days and we will circular those requirements once issued, but at this moment in time all players and spectators details are still required to be recorded at both training and games.  If you enter the venue, you must record your personal details at the entrance point.

 

Keys Dates

 

·                 Our Squirts (U3-U5) program will recommence on Saturday, 18 July 2020 at 9:00am. 

 

·                  MiniRoos U6 and U7 teams will recommence inhouse games on Friday night, 17 July 2020 and we will issue the draw shortly.  U7 teams can recommence training from Monday, 13 July 2020.  Please contact your coach as to whether your team will be training during the school holidays.

 In house draw is now under junior tab above.

·                  MiniRoos U8-U11 teams your draw will be issued shortly.  Season for these age groups will recommence in Saturday, 18 July 2020.  If your team has not recommence training, please contact to your coach as to whether your team will be training during the school holidays.

 

·                  Divisional U12-U18 teams have been renominated with Football Brisbane and the draw should be release late next week for the first rounds of the season starting on the weekend of 24 July 2020. If your team has not recommence training, please contact your coach as to whether your team will be training during the school holidays.

 

·                  Men and Women City teams have been renominated with Football Brisbane and the draw should be release late next week for the first rounds of the season starting on the weekend of 24 July 2020. If your team has not recommence training, please contact your coach as to whether your team will be training during the school holidays.

 

·                  Over 35 competition will recommence on the weekend of 17 July 2020. If your team has not recommence training, please contact your coach as to whether your team will be training during the school holidays.

 

·                  Season for the majority of competitions above will conclude on the weekend of 30/31 October 2020.

 

Player ID (U12-U18 and City Teams)

 

If you have not already done so, please ensure that you have upload a photo in your Playfootball registration.  This will convert over into your team sheet for the upcoming season.  This must be done as soon as possible.

 

Registration Fees

 

Unfortunately, there is still a large amount of outstanding registration fees due Covid-19 and the delay of the competition season.  Considering this, the club has decided that all registration fees must:

 

·                  be paid in full by 31 July 2020;  or

·                  pay the minimum deposit and enter a payment plan by 31 July 2020 (balance of fees on a payment plan must be finalised by 31 August 2020).

 

There have been many questions regarding registrations fees this season and we would like stress that registration fees also cover the operational and expensive of the club for a year, just not for the competition period.  Over the last couple of months the club has not been receiving any income and still incurring operation and maintenance costs. The majority of registrations fees are used at the start of the year with off-season field maintenance, light repairs and purchasing of merchandising to sell during the sign-on period and as well as many other expenses. Add to this, the clubs had to financially contribute to finalise the refurbishment of the clubhouse at the start of this season. A reduction of competition games this season does not result in a reduced amount of registrations fees and the club’s yearly costs have not change and it fact, the club’s operational costs will actually will increase due to Covid-19 this year.

 

As per the club’s Refund Policy (which were include in the terms of registration) any person who elects not to proceed with the remainder of season, is not entitled to a refund of any registration fees (including FFA, FQ and FB association fees). It’s not a policy the club wishes to implement during these times but to be fair to all members and ensure that the club remains financial viable for the remainder of the season and for the future years to come, we must abide by our policies unless presented with extreme circumstances which can be reviewed on specific requests from members.

 

We trust you understand the club’s position in this regards and we look forward to seeing you all return to the pitch over the next couple of weeks.

2020 Season Sign On and Registration Information.

Notice to all Members, Players, Officials and Volunteers.
Logan Lightning FC is now open for the 2020 Season Sign On and Registration.
Please note the following Important information.
*All members are required to Sign On and Pay Fees via the LLFC Website,
*All members are also required to register in Play Football,
*DO NOT PAY ANY FEES IN PLAY FOOTBALL - IGNORE THEIR SYSTEM GENERATED INVOICE.
*All Coaches, Managers and Volunteers are required to register in both LLFC and Play Football.
*2020 Season Fees also include all Player Match Fees
*Fees are to be paid in full, or
*Pay the initial part payment when signing on and pay the balance due by 31 January, or
*Pay the initial part payment when signing on and enter into a Payment Plan with all fees paid out by 31 May.
*All members who have already signed on and paid their initial part payment but have not entered into a Payment Plan must also finalize their fees in accordance with the dates noted above.
