We are excited to announce the return of James Coutts as Head Coach for 2023. After taking over half way through this season in a caretaker role, he decided to build on some of the foundations already laid and will take charge again in 2023.
Guiding the current squad to the round of 32 in the Australian Cup and a very sucessful run towards the end of the season in the league, he showed that there is plenty of potential within the current squad. He will now also be able to grow the squad for next season.
James Stated:
“2022 was a tough long season and the end of a cycle for us, now we move forward and I can’t wait to take over permanently and look to build a team that will compete to bounce back into NPL. Bringing Rich back to the club was a massive factor for me and the fact he left NPL opportunities shows he believes in the long term project at the club along with myself.

Richard has just finished as the assistant coach of Olympic FC and had previous roles with Redlands UTD and Moreton Bay. Richard was an important signature for the club as he shares the vision and values of the technical team and will be a valued contributor to our program across the whole club.

Richard stated:
"Im excited to be returning to Logan FC. It is a club that gives me many great memories. As a former club captain I aim to help the club return to the NPL as quickly as possible. I turned down a number of opportunities to return to Logan as I strongly believe in the project and future of the club that James is trying to create. This opportunity also strengthens the partnerships between Logan FC and Marsden SHS".
